September 1, 2010 - Your support is a real boost
You have been a lot to request keys to connect to the beta. To date we have mainly given access to French people because the English localization isn’t yet released. Good news, Alexia is working on it and it should be ready for next week. Your mails of support are really important and all the team is really boosted by your enthusiasm. Some blogs have already reviewed the small beta part of the site.

August 16, 2010 - Opening of the first access to the beta version 0.4
Many features aren’t active yet, some are not even visible… Each hour of the day has its update. We play in mode “work in progress”, but we have to open, to share, to listen, and to move forward…
August 2, 2010 - If speech is silver, silence is golden
What happened in July? No vacation for Gamersband! Ergo, mock-ups, brainstorms, codes, tables, process, strategy, brochures, wording, consulting, hiring, tests, code again… We had no stop. Our team has grown. We are now 4 people working full time on the project. Vincent and Yannick joined Antoine and me (special greeting to Olivier).
June 24, 2010 - Gamersband will also have its own badges!
We will open Gamersband.com with about a hundred virtual goods to win, to collect (or to accumulate) splitted up into 5 categories: medals, cups, badges, shields and degrees!
We can’t stand sharing with you the « work in progress » of a first series of medals design by Stéphane. Good luck, no more than 96 before the end of the summer…

June 14, 2010 - Welcome on Gamersband
Here's the first news about Gamersband.com, location-based social media for gamers.
The main idea is to provide, to anyone that just bought a video game, a simple solution to find people with the same game in his area: people from his neighborhood, from the same school, the same workplace... We aim to develop meetings and matches, IRL or online, between players that live nearby. We believe that video games are wonderful social links creators and that it's always more exciting to play with his band!
Gamersband will help you find a FIFA player that lives 2 floors above you, a guitarist for a Rockband party, or a new guildmate open to sometimes share a pizza.
But that's not all, Gamersband will go further.
